Alcohol Addiction

Many people do not realize they are addicted to alcohol because it is so commonly used in society and throughout many cultures.

Addiction is addiction, any way you spin it. An "alcoholic" is merely a term we use for someone addicted to alcohol. And while people don't always refer to alcohol as a "drug" it can surely be categorized on the same level. Of course there are always going to be differences, from person to person, on how they became addicts or what drives them. But people who possess addictive personalities all share a similar struggle, and should be treated properly.
