Do "bath salts" really turn you into a zombie?

The media is blaming "bath salts" for recent zombie-like behavior. Are "bath salts" really creating a Zombie Apocalypse?

Drug Abuse

Heavy abuse of psychoactive drugs like "bath salts" can compromise mental stability and cause impulsive behavior.

Synthetic Drugs

The main compounds found in "bath salts" are synthetic cathinones, including MDPV, Mephedrone, and/or Methylone.

Designer Drugs

Though the effects of the substance are unpredictable, "bath salts" have become one of the most sought-after designer drug in recent months.

There's not much research surrounding the effects of "bath salts" and their active compounds, synthetic cathinones. No one REALLY knows if "bath salts" were the sole reason why people became "zombie-like". All we know is that synthetic cathinones, like MDPV and Mephedrone, can cause major psychological instabilities in high doses. Enough of the stuff can send you off into an uncontrollable frenzy.
