"Edibles" refers to THC-infused food, most commonly baked goods. Pregnant women should consult a physician before using or taking drugs, including marijuana. Many substances can harm a developing fetus and compromise a healthy birth.
Marijuana, and its active compound THC, is harvested from the Cannabis plant. It is typically smoked, vaporized, or consumed in brownies (and other edibles) or tincture.
